Overview:
Dianabol is well known by its chemical name as Methandrostenolone and is the most popular Steroid used by bodybuilders and athletes all over the world. It gained its fame in the late 1950s and during the “Golden Era of Bodybuilding” of the 1960s and 1970s.
Dianabol is a very effective mass AAS which provides impressive weight and strength gains. Most users experienced a 2-4 LB bodyweight increase per week with heavy water retention especially when stacked with a nandrolone, the physique and performance enhancement effect is drastic.
Methandrostenolone becomes active in 1-3 hours with a half-life of about 3.5-4.5 hours. For this reason, dosages must be divided throughout the day to maintain blood serum concentrations at an elevated state. Massive dosages are just not necessary since a single 10-mg dose has an increase in androgenic and anabolic activity 5 times over the normal rate with a correlating reduction in natural cortisol activity of 50-70%. That being most impressive with first time AAS users who use a daily dosage of 20-30mg daily, those can most definitely experience significant results over a 4-6 week period. Women, in theory, should not use Methandrostenolone but a surprising number did and still do. If a female chooses to use this drug, no more than 10-mg daily for 3-4 weeks stacked with a very low androgenic product should be used
Dianabol is classified as a class 2 anabolic steroids due to its weak binding affinity to the androgen receptor as well as other receptor, such as Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG). These binding globulins which are proteins bind to sex hormones such as Testosterone, Estrogen, Dianabol, etc. and render them inactive temporarily. The result of this is basically an inactive hormone that floats around in the bloodstream and does nothing. This latter characteristic is the very characteristic that grants Dianabol its status as a significantly potent anabolic steroid, and therefore it is speculated that much of Dianabol’s activity is non-receptor mediated.
Dianabol being a C17-Alpha Alkylation causes an increase in the liver values which means it is hepatotoxic (liver toxic) which really means that this steroid is resistant to hepatic breakdown. A quality shared by any drug that is resistant to hepatic breakdown. As a result of that use should not exceed 4-6 weeks at a given time to ensure healthy liver function, and for a total liver recovery following the cycle.
Dosage and Effect:
Massive strength gains and impressive weight gain is to be expected when Dianabol is used, especially when stacked with another injectable such as Testosterone or Nandrolone. A drastic physique and appearance change take place in addition to a reported well-being feeling and heightened sex drive.
The same applies to Anavar/Dianabol stack, even though as mentioned earlier, an oral only cycle is not advisable due to living toxicity.
Dianabol drastically suppresses natural testosterone production within a short period of time of continuous administration.
The most concerning Dianabol side effect is the stress it imposes on the liver, and therefore supplementation with liver support preparation such as Tudca is highly recommended.
· Estrogenic side effects: The most noticeable Dianabol side effects are those of estrogen-related such as bloating and water retention, followed by gynecomastia. However, those can be managed with the use of Aromatase Inhibitors such as Exemestane (Aromasin) and Arimidex.
PCT can start immediately after the last Dianabol dose if no other long-acting steroid was used. As mentioned earlier, its active half-life is 4-6 hours and therefore clears the body fast allowing the process of recovery to start.
